behind the veil

1. Hid from mortal vision, beyond our (or mortal) ken, in the other world, beyond the veil, beyond the grave, in the eternal world, in the realms beyond sense, in the supersensible regions.
2. Into the eternal secret, into that which is hidden, into the mystery of the other world, into the supreme mystery, within the veil, into the realms supersensible.
